There's no hiding the fact that Cam Coleman isn't just one of the top wide receivers for the Texas Longhorns, but one of the best in the entire country.
Transferring to Texas this offseason after starting his career with the Auburn Tigers, Coleman was a top prospect in the portal.
Now, he's putting in work alongside fellow elite wideouts Ryan Wingo, Emmett Mosley V, and others, with star quarterback Arch Manning slinging the ball in their direction.
With all of that individual talent and a top-tier quarterback to pair with it, it should come as no surprise that the best defensive backs in the nation are making special note of when they are scheduled to play the Longhorns and when they will have to cover Coleman.
"My first thought when I looked at the schedule was, 'Cam Coleman Week 2,'" Ohio State cornerback Devin Sanchez said before listing two more talented receivers he'll face this season. "That friendship's gonna be out the window when we're on the field. When the whistle blows, that whole 60 minutes, it's gonna be no friendship."

Sanchez, a sophomore for the OSU Buckeyes, is considered one of the top defensive backs in the country and will most likely be assigned to cover Coleman when they come to Austin in Week 2, alongside senior Jermain Matthews Jr.
While Coleman and Sanchez may or may not be friends right now, they certainly won't be making friendship bracelets at midfield once the game kicks off.
"I've gotta go out there, and I've gotta beat you. That's what it is and what it comes with," Sanchez said. "Whoever I've gotta guard, I've gotta guard. It is what it is, and it's gonna play out how it plays out."

Sanchez won't be the only cornerback pushing pause on friendships when Texas takes the field, and Coleman won't be the only receiver fighting through elite defensive secondaries to earn his reps.
Wingo and Mosley will likely round out the depth chart at receiver for the Horns, providing two more highly talented targets for Manning to throw to this season.
However, in the regular season alone, Texas will have to face some of the best defensive backs in the nation, including Mississippi State's Kelley Jones, Oklahoma's Eli Bowen, LSU's DJ Pickett, and Ole Miss's Antonio Kite, just to name a few.
Week in and week out, there will be downfield battles when the Longhorns are on offense, but with heightened talent at nearly every position, Texas head coach Steve Sarkisian has his team ready for whichever opponent crosses its path.
Texas and Ohio State are scheduled to play on Saturday, Sept. 12, at 6:30 p.m. CT. Then, and only then, will we know if Sanchez really is ready to cover Coleman, or if the Longhorns' wideout can leave the Buckeyes' defensive back in his dust.
