Every Texas player with a Super Bowl championship ring

Three Texas players have a chance to add at least one Super Bowl championship ring to the list of hardware for former Longhorns in the NFL this weekend.

Former Texas football players will be featured prominently in Super Bowl LIV on Sunday evening between the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles in New Orleans, LA, at Caesars Superdome.

All Texas football players to win Super Bowl rings in the NFL

Three Texas Exes will be playing in Super Bowl LIV today, including wide receiver Xavier Worthy and defensive end Charles Omenihu for the Chiefs and defensive lineman Moro Ojomo for the Eagles.

Dating back all the way to the first-ever Super Bowl during the 1968-69 season between the New York Jets and Baltimore Colts on Jan. 12, 1969, you can find Longhorns players who have participated in many Super Bowls. And since 2006, the Longhorns have had at least one Texas Ex in the Super Bowl (besides the 2023 Super Bowl).

This is one of many years where multiple Longhorns players have played in the Super Bowl. Omenihu is on the Chiefs' roster for the Super Bowl for the second postseason in a row. Worthy, meanwhile, is looking for his first Super Bowl ring during a special rookie campaign for the 2024 first-round NFL Draft pick.

Ojomo is playing for his first Super Bowl ring with the Eagles.

Six Super Bowl-winning teams featured multiple Longhorns players on the roster (Eagles-2018, Ravens-2013, Steelers-2009, Rams-2000, Bears-1986, and Jets-1969).

Defensive tackles Casey Hampton and Malcom Brown and offensive tackle Dave Studdard are tied for the most Super Bowl appearances of any Longhorns player, with three each. Brown most recently played in three Super Bowls in four years in the late 2010s with the New England Patriots.

Brown is also one of four former Longhorns players with multiple Super Bowl championship rings, including tight end Terry Orr, guard Dan Neil, and cornerback Aaron Ross.

Omenihu is the most recent Longhorns player to get a Super Bowl ring, with the Chiefs winning last season in 2024. If the Chiefs defeat the Eagles today, Omenihu would be the first Longhorn to win back-to-back Super Bowl rings.

Worthy would also be one of the first rookies from the Longhorns to win a Super Bowl ring.

You can find a complete list of Longhorns players who have participated in the Super Bowl on the official Texas athletics website.
