It was over a decade ago that Jordan Spieth helped secure the NCAA Championship as a freshman on the Texas Longhorns men's golf team. Since then, he has gone on to win The Open Championship, the U.S. Open, and the Masters Tournament.
However, the PGA Tour doesn't look quite like it used to for the Longhorn legend as he looks to secure his green jacket at the Masters.
Since turning pro, Spieth and his wife, Annie Verret, have welcomed two children––son, Sammy, and daughter, Sophie––into their family, and ahead of the 2025 Masters Tournament, he and a few other golfers got to walk the course with their kiddos in tow.
"I used to play it with myself, Justin [Thomas], and Rickie [Fowler], and we were doing hole-in-one bets," Spieth said. "Now, I've just got to make sure that Sammy doesn't hit somebody."
His son had hit an incredible tee shot earlier in the day as Spieth competed in the Par 3 contest, with his wife and his daughter as his other caddies.

It was just a couple of years ago that Sammy was barely old enough to sit up on his own, much less pull off a masterful swing from the tee box.

While Spieth will absolutely be competing to win the heralded tournament, he has spent the lead-up wrangling his two children and ensuring they don't consume unknown objects off the course.
"No, no, no, no, Sophie. We can't eat that. ... I don't know what that is."

Spieth won the Masters Tournament in 2015, the same PGA season in which he won the U.S. Open and finished second at the PGA Championship. While winning is his career goal, sharing these moments with his family must make the tournaments even sweeter, no matter the results.
The 2025 Masters Tournament began on Thursday, April 10, and will run through Sunday, April 13. The winner of the PGA tournament will don the legendary green jacket, which will be placed on them by the previous winner, fellow Longhorn legend Scottie Scheffler.
