Former Texas football and Alabama Crimson Tide redshirt sophomore transfer wide receiver Agiye Hall has committed to the FCS Sacramento State Hornets, per a post on his X account on Jan. 5.

Hall had committed to the UCF Knights in the Big 12 last offseason via the transfer portal, but he never enrolled at the school.
He spent the first season of his collegiate career at Alabama during the 2021 campaign. Hall saw action in seven games during his true freshman season at Alabama, registering four catches for 72 receiving yards and no touchdowns.
Hall saw significant snaps on offense for the Tide against the Georgia Bulldogs in the College Football Playoff National Championship Game in the 2021-22 postseason due to injuries to the Alabama receiving corps. He was targeted seven times against Georgia in the title game, resulting in two catches for 52 yards.
He transferred from Alabama to Texas during the 2022 offseason. Hall saw snaps in three games for the Longhorns during his sophomore campaign. He was targeted twice in the 2022 season, resulting in one catch for seven yards and no touchdowns.
Hall's only catch for the Longhorns came in Week 4 against the Texas Tech Red Raiders.
A top 50 prospect nationally in the 2021 class in the 247Sports Composite and On3 Industry Ranking, Hall was one of the top skill position players who signed with Alabama in that cycle.
