Former Texas wide receiver Isaiah Bond has reportedly been accused of and charged with sexual assault. On Thursday, April 10, the Frisco Police Department shared that Bond turned himself in, posted bond, and had subsequently been released.

While neither the Texas head coach Steve Sarkisian nor the Longhorns' athletic director Chris Del Conte has released statements on the matter, Bond replied with an adamant denial of the accusations.

"Regarding the accusation made against me, I would appreciate the time and opportunity to defend myself and prove the claims made, patently false," Bond wrote. "I am in full cooperation with the authorities and will remain a willing and active participant in the investigation.

"Unfortunately, claims like these prove to be harmful to all involved, absent full review.  I kindly request that all reserve judgement until the authorities provide a complete report based on truth and evidence."

The exact charges against Bond have yet to be released to the public, and the former Texas wide receiver did not go into detail regarding what he had been accused of. Whether the case will go to court or not also has yet to be determined and/or announced.

Following his 2024-25 season with Texas, Bond declared for the NFL Draft and is projected to hear his name called within the first two days. In fact, the wideout was visiting the Packers in Green Bay earlier this week.

The 2025 NFL Draft is set for Thursday, April 24, through Saturday, April 26. The Draft will air on the NFL Network.
