After his fifth season in the NFL, former Texas wide receiver Lil'Jordan Humphrey has signed a contract with the New York Giants. Humphrey was most recently with the Denver Broncos before becoming a free agent following the 2024-25 season.
Last season, the Longhorn legend earned 293 yards and one touchdown on just 31 receptions for the Broncos.

Throughout his six-year-long professional career, Humphrey has earned a total of 770 receiving yards and seven touchdowns, with a career-long 56-yard reception in 2021 for the New Orleans Saints. He was initially signed by the Saints before spending a year with the New England Patriots and then joined Denver in 2023.
Humphrey played just three seasons for the Longhorns before entering the NFL Draft. From 2016 through 2018, Humphrey brought in 125 catches for 1,622 receiving yards and 10 touchdowns through the air.
He ran for 66 additional yards and two more touchdowns as well as completing a pass for a touchdown in 2018. In total, he completed seven passes for 45 yards throughout his collegiate career. While at Texas, he took 15 punt and kick returns for a total of 276 yards.

The Giants have yet to disclose any specifics about the free agency contract that they agreed upon with Humphrey. New York has yet to announce when its preseason schedule will be released but has released all of its opponents for the upcoming season.
Last year, the Giants finished fourth in the NFC East with an abysmal 3-14 record. New York looks to add more talent to its roster during the 2025 NFL Draft which is set to begin on Thursday, April 24.
