One of the Longhorns' top and most sought-after transfer portal acquisitions this offseason, Rasheem Biles, has brought exactly what he's always been known for to Austin.
Confidence.
He's one of those classic "You're not going to outwork me" type of players who has all the confidence and motivation in the world inside of him. This is what makes him one of the top WILL linebackers in all of college football and already one of Texas' defensive leaders right now.

His aura and self-assurance weren't lost on the media recently when he addressed a couple of different topics about his time at Texas so far, and what his current role is:
“I feel like I’m a versatile LB. I can do anything. Stop the rush, blitz, pass rush, I feel like I can do a lot of that. My biggest thing is try to get the ball out. Whenever I get my chance to get my hand on the ball, get close to the ball, I try to do that.”
This quote perfectly describes the type of player that Biles is, especially when it comes to getting to the football and turning it over.
He was undoubtedly PITT's star defender in 2025, as he recorded 101 tackles, 17 TFL, 4.5 sacks, 2 INTs, 4 pass deflections, 2 forced fumbles, 1 fumble recovery, and scored 3 defensive touchdowns. That type of stat line for any defender is absolutely absurd, and he's looking to bring the same production to Texas in 2026.
He has the speed and athleticism of a safety, the play style of a MIKE, and the heart of a lion. It's going to be incredibly interesting to see if he has the same type of effectiveness in the SEC that he's had in the ACC over the past two seasons, and if he does, I feel bad for Texas' opponents in 2026.
