Earlier this week, former Longhorns basketball star Kevin Durant announced a partnership with Nike to create a new NIL venture for Texas Athletes, and their first signing was women's basketball star Madison Booker.

Today, 16 more Longhorns have officially become Nike NIL atletes under the same program:

- Aiden Robbins (Baseball)
- Dylan Volantis (Baseball)
- Jonah Williams (Baseball/Football)
- Dia Bell (Football)
- Cam Coleman (Football)
- Colin Simmons (Football)
- Ryan Wingo (Football)
- Tommy Morrison (Golf)
- Farah O'Keefe (Golf)
- Ava McDonald (Soccer)
- Reese Atwood (Softball)
- Teagan Kavan (Softball)
- Hubert Kos (Swimming)
- Eva Okaro (Swimming)
- Cari Spears (Volleyball)
- Torrey Stafford (Volleyball)

Each and every one of these student athletes are deserving of being partnered with Nike, and all of them are seen as elite athletes in the SEC conference.

It's going to be extremely interesting to see whether or not other Longhorns players will be offered an NIL deal during their 2026 seasons, and whether or not more specifics will be announced when it comes to how these players are actually being compensated.

At first, it was being reported that only basketball athetes would be considered for the program, but that's obviously not the case, at least anymore.

Stay tuned for more updates and information about the new NIL partnership.
