Corso's first-ever headgear pick was in Columbus, as he placed the headgear of Brutus Buckeye on to pick Ohio State over Penn State and said, "Buckeyes all the way!"
Now, ESPN has a chance to quite literally make his career come full circle as Corso would have the chance to choose between the Buckeyes and the Longhorns, another team that he has truly grown to love over the years.
In fact, last season, who chose the Longhorns to defeat the Michigan Wolverines, Georgia Bulldogs, Texas A&M Aggies, and Ohio State Buckeyes (two of which came true). Since 1999, Corso put on Hook'Em's headgear 19 times.
It's hard to hate Corso, even when he picks against your favorite team. He spent 28 years as a college and pro football coach, including 15 years as a the head coach at Louisville, Indiana, and Northern Illinois. Because of his career before College GameDay, fans lovingly referred to him as Coach Corso.
Texas and Ohio State are scheduled to play on Aug. 30, and while the time of the game has yet to be set, it would be the perfect setting to send Corso out with a bang.
