Over nearly four decades on ESPN's College GameDay, Lee Corso has announced his retirement and will make his final game day pick on Aug. 30, in week one of the upcoming season. Corso has been with the show for 38 years and has been at dozens of Longhorn games.

Now, as his final game approaches, take a look back at every time Corso donned Hook'Em's headgear to choose Texas

How many times did Lee Corso pick the Longhorns to win?

Over the last 38 years, Corso was in attendance for 25 Texas football games and chose the Horns to walk away victorious on 18 of those occasions. In those selections, Corso correctly picked the Longhorns to win 10 times.

Corso's first ever Texas pick was on Oct. 23, 1999, when he correctly chose the Longhorns to defeat the Nebraska Cornhuskers

One of the most memorable times that Corso chose the Longhorns was when he was the only member of the GameDay crew to pick Texas to defeat the USC Trojans in the 2006 Rose Bowl game for the BCS National Championship.

Over last season, Corso was in attendance for four Texas games, including the Horns' non-conference win over the Michigan Wolverines. He picked the Longhorns to win all four of those games, two of which they did (versus Michigan and Texas A&M), losing to the Georgia Bulldogs and Ohio State Buckeyes.

Corso's final College GameDay appearance will be in week one of the 2025 college football season, on Aug. 30. It could very likely be at Texas's game against the Ohio State Buckeyes, the first team Corso ever picked.
