Sean Miller has built a monster of a roster on the 40 Acres.

Between the No. 4 nationally ranked transfer portal class, the No. 5 recruiting class in the country, and four returning players, the Texas Longhorns have quickly become a genuine title contender.

So far this summer, 14 of the 15 players on Miller's roster had reported to campus, already putting in offseason work to ensure their dominance when they actually get the show on the road in November.

Now, player No. 15 seems to have arrived at Texas, and it's none other than four-star Lithuanian point guard Mantas Laurencikas.

In a recent video from the Texas men's basketball team, captioned "Longhorn Nation, our guy's here," Laurencikas introduces himself and signs off with a "Hook'em," starting his campaign on the 40 Acres in fine form.

Laurencikas is the final piece of a roster that should be able to compete at the highest level this season, and his resume speaks for itself.

Over the last two years, the guard has suited up for the Lithuanian U20 national team, as well as the France-Betclic and France-Espoirs ELITE squads, earning international reps and proving to collegiate head coaches, like Miller, exactly why he belongs on their roster.

During the 2025-26 season for Espoirs, Laurencikas averaged 13.2 points, 5.6 rebounds, 4.6 assists, and 1.5 steals per game, cementing himself as a genuine college prospect.

Now, he is on the 40 Acres and about to suit up in burnt orange, alongside a slew of other blue-chip prospects, including five-star recruits Austin Goosby and Marcus Spears Jr.

Freshmen Longhorns are about to take over for Sean Miller

Yes, returners like center Matas Vokietaitis (yet another Lithuanian on the squad) and transfer additions like former Tennessee Volunteers guard Amari Evans are going to play key roles this season.

However, get ready for true freshman to take the court by storm for Miller and the Longhorns.

Between Spears, Goosby, Laurencikas, Bo Ogden, Joe Sterling, and Coleman Elkins, there is a slew of elite freshmen on Miller's roster and it shouldn't come as a surprise if they find themselves playing considerable time throughout the year.

Goosby is almost a guaranteed lock for a starting guard role this season, likely running the back court alongside former Colorado Buffaloes guard Isaiah Johnson. Spears, a five-star power forward, could easily slide into a starting role, possibly surpassing former TCU Horned Frogs forward David Punch.

Elyjah Freeman, a former Auburn Tigers shooting guard, could start the season as the starter for Texas, but don't be shocked if Laurencikas or Ogden rotate into the starting lineup when Miller wants to mix things up.

Simply put, there are endless iterations for Texas's starting five, and that speaks volumes to the depth Miller has brought to Texas. Laurencikas is just the latest arrival.
