Texas CB Malik Muhammad has officially declared for the 2026 NFL Draft according to a post that he shared on social media recently.

The ball-hawking cornerback has been one of the defense's top playmakers on the boundary for former DC Pete Kwiatkowski, and now he's excited to take his game to the next level. He has great size at 6'0", 190 lbs., and has enough speed to run with most receivers in the open field.

He had a few top-notch performances in 2025, and has been a 28-game starter for the Longhorns' defense since arriving in 2023.

Muhammad was undoubtedly the best player on the field against Oklahoma, single handedly shutting down QB John Mateer and the Sooners' offense by picking him off twice and coming up with another huge pass breakup late in the game.

Over the course of his Texas career, he's totaled 97 tackles, 3.5 tackles for loss, 3 interceptions, and 16 pass deflections. He also returned a punt for a touchdown as a true freshman in 2023, showing off added value on special teams.

Longhorn Nation will definitely miss "Manny" in 2026, and we wish him nothing but the best for the rest of his career.
