After a horrendous first quarter against the Florida Gators, things were finally turning around for the Texas Longhorns when linebacker Anthony Hill Jr. recovered a fumble, and the Horns were finally on the positive end of the field.

Then, quarterback Arch Manning looked like he found his footing, connecting with his go-to guy, wide receiver Parker Livingstone, for a 33-yard completion.

However, Livingstone went down hard as the Gator defender's helmet colided with his knee. Immediately, the young wideout came up with a limp, and headed to the sideline in obvious discomfort.

Training staff rushed to his side as the Horns prayed that they weren't about to lose yet another offensive star.

With Livingstone down, the Texas receiving room narrowed even farther, despite gaining transfer wideout Emmett Mosley IV back from the injury list, returning from a torn hamstring that he suffered earlier this year.

Livingstone has undeniably been the star of the Horns' receiving room, leading the team 232 yards through the air as they headed to Gainesville for their SEC opener. He was tied with veteran wideout Ryan Wingo for three receiving touchdowns on the year.

Frequently compared to Longhorn legends Colt McCoy and Jordan Shipley, Livingstone and Manning are roommates, and the connection between the two has been clear all season long.

The loss of a star wideout could spell ruin for the Texas offense that has truly struggled to find any form of consistency this year, especially as the Longhorns' SEC schedule continues to ramp up.

Right after Livingstone limped to the sidelines, the Horns were finally able to find the end zone, Manning connecting with running back Quintrevion Wisner for a six-yard touchdown to put the Gators within reach. Just like that it was 10-7 and there was a ball game in Gainesville.

As the second quarter progressed, Livingstone was seen leaving the field with members of the training staff helping him to the locker room.

At the start of the second half, Livingstone was back on the field with a calf sleeve on his right leg, but seemingly back to action.
