After fairly successful careers with the Longhorns, wide receiver Brenen Thompson and safety JD Coffey were both rated as four-star transfers in the 2023 portal.

Thompson only had 7 receptions for Oklahoma in 2023 but earned 241 yards, averaging 34.4 per catch, for 2 touchdowns.

Coffey had 12 total tackles for the San Diego State Aztecs last season and was a pivotal piece of SDSU's defense.

While Coffey and Thompson haven't broken any records since leaving the Horns, they each would've been great tools to have on either side of the ball.
