Visit season resumes for Texas football and head coach Steve Sarkisian late this summer with the late July BBQ/pool party bash on July 25. Thursday kicks off the final big recruiting event of the offseason for Sarkisian and staff before preseason camp begins next week.

Texas football hosts its annual late-July bash for top recruits this week

With summer official visits in the rearview mirror, the Texas bash later this week gives the Longhorns the opportunity to host top targets on the recruiting trail for the 2025 class (as well as future classes) one more time in this big type of event setting before the season begins.

Texas is set to host well over a dozen visitors from the 2025, 2026, and 2027 classes for the pool party/BBQ bash starting July 25. There is also the chance that some visitors arrive in Austin to take their visits on July 24 and/or 26.

Early visitor lists for the Texas bash have already started coming together since late last week. Texas will have plenty of highly touted four and five-star priority recruits on campus for the bash on Thursday.

Here are three five-star priority recruits the Longhorns are scheduled to host for the late July pool party/BBQ bash on July 25.

Jonah Williams, ATH

Possibly Texas's biggest visitor for the bash this week on campus is the elite five-star Galveston (TX) Ball athlete/safety Jonah Williams. Texas is making a big push for Williams late this summer, which is partially being helped out by the hire of new baseball head coach Jim Schlossnagle since he is a two-sport athlete at Ball High School in Southeast Texas.

On Texas Football's CJ Vogel reported on July 23 that Texas is "trending positively" for Williams at this stage of his recruitment this summer. It's very clear that the Longhorns are not the frontrunner in the race to land a commitment from Williams heading into his unofficial visit to Texas in a couple of days.

But it's important to note that Texas has a chance to make up some serious ground in this recruitment if Williams has a good visit to Austin on July 25. Texas didn't get an official visit from Williams this offseason, so it is big for the Longhorns to push all the right buttons during his trip this week.
