Lacey ranked fourth among the best performers from Day 1 of the Elite 11 Finals on June 18.

While Lacey might not look like he has the biggest arm of all the quarterbacks competing in the Elite 11 Finals this week, those who have watched his game know how impressive he is throwing the football. Lacey can really spin it, even when he is in these types of camp settings while throwing in shorts.

Lacey spoke to the media on Day 1 of the Elite 11 Finals, updating the status of his recruitment and talking about the other prospects he wants to bring to Texas with him in the 2025 class. He told 247Sports on June 18 that he's recruiting five-star wide receivers Dakorien Moore and Jaime Ffrench, along with four-star offensive tackle Nick Brooks in the 2025 class.

Among those three recruits Lacey says he's targeting to recruit to Texas for this cycle, he said that Ffrench is the one he's zoning in on with his crystal ball.

This is nothing new for Lacey to be helping to recruit other top prospects in his class on the offensive side of the ball. He's been in communication with guys like Ffrench and Moore at least since last fall.

Ffrench is in California this week catching passes from quarterbacks like Lacey at the Elite 11 Finals. He's also taking his official visit to Texas this upcoming weekend, which is the same time Lacey is taking his official trip to Austin.

Lacey also told 247Sports that the Ole Miss Rebels and Auburn Tigers are the two other schools most actively recruiting him early this summer. While Ole Miss and Auburn are still communicating with Lacey, he is reportedly holding firm with his commitment to Texas.

Lacey also mentioned that Texas is the only official visit he plans to take this summer.
