The top four schools Jones will reportedly decide between on July 2 are the USC Trojans, Texas A&M Aggies, Michigan Wolverines, and Texas. Jones officially visited all four of his top schools early this summer.

His summer visit circuit started on May 31, with a trip to Ann Arbor to see the Wolverines. Then, he saw Texas (June 14) and Texas A&M (June 7) on back-to-back weekends in early-to-mid June.

Summer official visits rounded up for Jones with a trip to Southern California to see head coach Lincoln Riley and the Trojans on June 21.

USC and Michigan made a lot of noise in this recruitment during summer official visits. Texas A&M also made up a lot of ground with Jones during his official trip to College Station from June 7-9.

Texas impressed Jones and his family during his mid-June official visit to Austin. He spent time with Texas co-DC/LB coach Johnny Nansen and others on the coaching staff during his Texas official visit on June 14-16.

Inside Texas reported on June 28 (paid content) that Michigan was "gaining momentum" in the race to land Jones's commitment this summer as of earlier this week. It does seem that Texas A&M and Michigan have the most chatter surrounding Jones's recruitment, entering his commitment date early this coming week.
