Michael Terry III, ATH

The highest-rated uncommitted recruit in the 2025 class that visited Texas last weekend for the UTSA game was the elite five-star San Antonio (TX) Alamo Heights athlete Michael Terry III. He was impressed by the depth Texas showed with multiple levels of the depth chart showing out on the field in the win over UTSA.

Terry also reportedly enjoyed getting to spend time with the other visiting recruits at DKR on Saturday, and talking with the likes of Sarkisian and QB coach AJ Milwee after the game.

Texas did a nice job to swing momentum back in its favor in this recruitment after Terry's unofficial visit last weekend for the UTSA game. The Longhorns reportedly hold the lead in the race to land Terry's commitment before signing day in early December, over the Nebraska Cornhuskers in second place and the Oregon Ducks trailing behind in third.

Javian Osborne, RB

One of the top visiting recruits for the Longhorns over the weekend for the UTSA game from the 2026 class was the elite high-four-star Forney (TX) running back Javian Osborne. The No. 3 running back recruit in the nation in the 2026 class in the On3 Industry Ranking made his first gameday visit to see the Longhorns play a game at DKR this fall against UTSA last weekend.

It was also the second time and second weekend in a row that Osborne saw a Longhorns game as an in-person visitor unofficially this fall. Osborne also saw the Longhorns handily defeat the defending National Champion Michigan Wolverines at the Big House in Ann Arbor a couple of weeks ago.

Osborne loved getting to see the atmosphere at DKR for the primetime game against UTSA. He said in a post on social media during the pregame on Saturday that the "atmosphere is always electric" at DKR. He was also impressed by the running back depth the Longhorns showed on offense over the weekend for the UTSA game.

After the win over UTSA, Osborne spent time talking with Texas running backs coach Tashard Choice. Osborne is one of Choice's top running back priorities in-state in the 2026 class. He is expected to make a return gameday trip unofficially to Austin for the Texas-Georgia game at DKR next month.
