Bralan Womack, S

Among the top-ranked 2026 visiting recruits on campus yesterday for the pool party/BBQ bash was the elite five-star Brandon (MS) Hartfield Academy safety Bralan Womack. The No. 1 recruit from Mississippi in the 2026 class in the 247Sports Composite and On3 Industry Ranking received a Texas offer during his visit this week.

Womack reportedly drove from Mississippi for this unofficial visit for the bash event yesterday. He's also scheduled to take an unofficial visit to College Station today to see Texas A&M.

Texas is trending up among the schools involved in Womack's recruitment early on. Having another successful visit to Austin since last fall and getting the scholarship offer has only continued to help Texas's case in the race to land Womack's commitment.

Womack is reportedly scheduled to return to Texas for an unofficial visit this fall for the Georgia game at DKR on Oct. 19.

John Turntine, OT

Texas's top priority along the offensive line in the 2026 class, five-star Fort Worth (TX) North Crowley offensive tackle John Turntine, has been a frequent visitor in Austin since last offseason. He's already been to campus four times for visits since the first big Junior Day of the offseason on Jan. 20.

Kyle Flood and the Longhorns continued to do a nice job connecting with Turntine during his unofficial visit to Texas for the pool party/BBQ bash yesterday. He liked seeing the offensive linemen get down to work in the strength and conditioning workouts, and connected with multiple coaches during his time on campus.

If a leader had to be named early in Turntine's recruitment, it would be very difficult not to pick Texas here.
