Dakorien Moore, WR (LSU commit)

Texas continues to be one of the schools pushing the hardest to chip away at the elite five-star Duncanville wide receiver Dakorien Moore's commitment to LSU. Moore told Mike Roach of 247Sports last week that Texas is one of the four schools he's focusing on in his recruitment moving forward.

Along with Texas and LSU, Ohio State and the Oregon Ducks will be the only four schools he communicates with for the rest of his recruitment.

Texas has kept up with Moore throughout his recruitment. Sarkisian and wide receivers coach Chris Jackson have made a very compelling case for why Moore should end up in Austin when his recruitment is all said and done.

The development and production at wideout for the Longhorns in the last few years in Sarkisian's offense is very noticeable. Xavier Worthy and Adonai Mitchell are among some of the top wide receiver prospects in the 2024 NFL Draft class, which has caught Moore's attention.

Moore will see Texas for the spring game (April 20) and plans to schedule an official visit to Texas during the summer.

Texas is also prioritizing the recruitments of top wide receiver talents in the 2025 class entering the spring such as Fulshear (TX) Katy Jordan high-four-star Andrew Marsh, Sachse (TX) five-star Kaliq Lockett, Santa Ana (CA) Mater Dei four-star Marcus Harris, and Jacksonville (FL) Mandarin five-star Jaime Ffrench.
