Adam Guthrie, OT

One of the few out-of-state visiting recruits from the 2026 class for the Colorado State game this weekend is the highly touted four-star Washington Court House (OH) Miami Trace offensive tackle Adam Guthrie. The big 6-foot-7 and 285-pound offensive tackle from Ohio holds offers from the Ohio State Buckeyes, Auburn Tigers, Florida Gators, Oregon Ducks, Nebraska Cornhuskers, Tennessee Volunteers, Texas A&M Aggies, and Texas, among many other P4 schools.

Kyle Flood and the Longhorns recently offered Guthrie in mid-August. This will be his first unofficial trip to Texas.

Guthrie also has gameday trips scheduled for this fall to see the Kentucky Wildcats (Sep. 14), Louisville Cardinals (Sep. 21), Ohio State (Oct. 5), West Virginia Mountaineers (Oct. 12), Penn State Nittany Lions (Nov. 2), Mizzou Tigers (Nov. 9), and USC Trojans (Nov. 16).

There is also a return trip on the books for Guthrie to see the Longhorns host the No. 1 Georgia Bulldogs at home at DKR on Oct. 19.

Jackson Blackwell, DL (Baylor commit)

One of the two 2025 recruits who are visiting Texas this weekend for the Colorado State game at DKR that isn't committed to the Longhorns currently is three-star Lorena (TX) defensive lineman and Baylor Bears pledge Jackson Blackwell.

A report from Horns247 on Aug. 29 for this weekend's visitor list for the Colorado State game confirms Blackwell is on the list for Saturday afternoon.

Blackwell has already taken multiple trips to Texas since last fall. Texas's staff is keeping an eye on his recruitment this fall as they're scouting multiple defensive tackle possible flip targets in the 2025 class over the next few months before signing day in early December.
