On Sunday, Texas football and head coach Steve Sarkisian wrapped up three big weekends of official visits during the month of June. Texas hosted over 40 official visitors among key targets on the recruiting trail from the 2025 class in the last few weeks, including 17 from June 21-23.

Texas football trending up with multiple official visitors from last week and weekend

The modern day recruiting calendar that has so many recruits signing early in December has emphasized a greater importance for a lot of them to have their recruitments wrapped up before the start of their senior seasons. That will likely be the case again this offseason, with many of Texas's key targets in the 2025 class having decision timelines expected to wrap up before early September.

We're expecting at least a handful of decisions from targeted prospects in the 2025 class who officially visited Texas in last three big visit weekends since June 7 before and during the July 4 holiday. Many of the recruits who officially visited Texas over the weekend are also expected to announce soon.

Here are five official visitors trending to Texas after the final big visit weekend on June 23.

Nathan Tilmon, CB

A few days after the conclusion of his Texas official visit on June 20, three-star Arlington (TX) Mansfield Timberview safety Nathan Tilmon re-opened his recruitment. Tilmon took to social media on Sunday evening (June 23) to announce his decommitment from the SMU Mustangs.

Texas has a great shot to land Tilmon after his decommitment from SMU roughly 24 hours ago. He had a great experience during his midweek official visit at Texas last week from June 18-20.

Horns247 reports on June 24 (paid content) that a decision from Tilmon is expected within the next week or 10 days. I like Texas to be the pick whenever Tilmon is ready to announce between now and July 4.
