Texas football and offensive line coach/offensive coordinator Kyle Flood are hosting a big-time unofficial visitor on April 9. The elite five-star Lewisville (TX) offensive tackle Michael Fasusi is making his first visit to Texas of the 2024 offseason on Tuesday.

Texas football to host 5-Star OT Michael Fasusi for two visits in the next three months

Fasusi is scheduled to arrive on campus for his unofficial visit to Texas on Tuesday morning.

On Texas Football's Gerry Hamilton reports on April 9 that Fasusi and his dad will be making the one-day trip to Austin today. Flood will reportedly lead the visit with Fasusi and his dad to show him what a day in the life of a Longhorn is like.

The No. 12 ranked recruit nationally in the 2025 class in the 247Sports Composite is also scheduled to visit Texas officially from June 21 to 23. The Oklahoma Sooners (June 14) and Texas A&M Aggies (June 6). are the other two schools Fasusi is scheduled to officially visit this summer.

Texas among the top 7 schools for Fasusi this spring

Outside of the three schools Fasusi is officially visiting this summer, the USC Trojans, Oregon Ducks, Georgia Bulldogs, and Mizzou Tigers round out his top seven that he announced on social media on April 1.

Texas, Oklahoma, and Texas A&M are reportedly the three schools in the area in contention for the elite 6-foot-5 and 300-pound offensive tackle recruit from the DFW Metroplex. Mizzou is also a threat to the Longhorns, Sooners, and Aggies among the top schools in this recruitment.
