How to watch Texas softball vs. Oklahoma: TV channel, streaming info for Big 12 Championship final
No. 1 Texas softball and head coach Mike White are looking to sweep the Big 12 titles for the regular season and conference tournament in the final against the two-seed Oklahoma Sooners on May 11.
After White and the Longhorns took the series two games out of three in the regular season matchups against the Sooners, Texas has a chance to further solidify themselves as the best in the Big 12 this weekend. Texas has been on fire with the bats lately.
The Longhorns have run-ruled opponents in five innings in a program-record seven straight games, averaging an impressive 13.5 runs scored per game. Texas (47-7, 23-4 Big 12) is also the hottest team in the Big 12 entering the tournament final.
White's squad has won 18 straight games, actually dating back to its only loss in the series in early April against Oklahoma. The Sooners, meanwhile, slipped up a bit (at least by their usual standard in softball) at the end of the regular season. Oklahoma (48-6, 22-5 Big 12) lost two of three to the No. 4 Oklahoma State Cowgirls in the regular season finale last weekend in Bedlam.
