Unfortunately for Horns fans, Texas is not the No. 1 UT in this way-too-early power ranking.
The Tennessee Volunteers are coming off of a phenomenal season as well as a fantastic run in the NCAA Tournament.
In fact, head coach Rick Barnes and the Vols took down Texas in the Second Round of March Madness.
The Longhorns' former head coach Barnes will more likely than not be able to out-coach his former assistant Rodney Terry once again when the two UTs face off in the regular season.
