Expected visit date: April 13

One of the highest-rated defensive recruits in the 2025 class who is visiting Texas this spring is the elite five-star Olney (MD) Our Lady of Good Counsel Faheem Delane. The No. 1 safety recruit in the nation in the 2025 class in the 247Sports Composite is making his first visit to Texas unofficially on April 13.

Texas caught Delane's attention when they officially sent him an offer in early January. While Delane had previously announced a top five a few months ago that included the likes of the Alabama Crimson Tide, Tennessee Volunteers, and LSU, Texas has jumped up the list since they offered him early alst month.

Delane is one of Texas's top out-of-state defensive back priorities in the 2025 class entering the spring.

Andrew Marsh, WR

Expected visit date: April 20

A top in-state wide receiver priority for Sarkisian, WR coach Chris Jackson, and the Longhorns in the 2025 class this offseason is the elite Fulshear (TX) Katy Jordan five-star Andrew Marsh.

Texas is battling the likes of Texas A&M and LSU among the top group of schools in the race to land a commitment from Marsh entering the spring. Marsh recently visited College Station to see Texas A&M earlier this offseason. He's also slated to visit LSU this spring, along with Texas for the Orange-White Game on April 20.

Marsh has a good relationship with new Texas A&M WR coach Holmon Wiggins. His relationship with Wiggins makes the Aggies a real factor in this recruitment. LSU also has something elite building in their 2025 class, which appeals to top skill recruits such as Marsh.
