Game 10: @ Arkansas (Nov. 16)

Location: Razorback Stadium (Fayetteville, AR)

The first of the two rivalry games the Longhorns are reviving in the SEC this fall comes during a road trip to Fayetteville, AR, in Week 10 to face head coach Sam Pittman and the Arkansas Razorbacks. Sarkisian and the Longhorns will be looking to avenge their 2021 loss to the Razorbacks in the first conference battle between these two longtime foes in over 30 years.

When Texas faced Arkansas in 2021, it was just Sarkisian's second game head coaching for the Longhorns. Texas ran into a buzz saw of an Arkansas defensive front that seemed to be prepared for anything Sarkisian and the Texas offense tried to run at them three years ago in Fayetteville.

The Arkansas fan base was also some of the rowdiest fans I've ever seen (and this was me watching the game from my TV and couch at home) in a rivalry matchup that Texas played in the last decade or so.

This time around, Texas will be more prepared for the type of atmosphere they'll be playing in Fayetteville in this rivalry against the Hogs. It could actually help the Longhorns that this game kicks off at 11 a.m. CT instead of being a night game at Razorback Stadium, like a few years ago.

We'll know fully whether Arkansas' experimentation of building their roster via transfer portal additions and some early-impact high school recruits from the last two cycles is working out in the grind of playing in the SEC week in and week out.

Prediction: Texas-35, Arkansas-20

Record: 9-1 (5-1 SEC)
