A post on Elite 11's X account prior to the start of action on Day 3 in LA on June 20 ranked Lacey as the fifth-best quarterback. Lacey has ranked among the top five best quarterbacks for each of the first two days of action at the Elite 11 Finals this week.

Lacey showed off his impressive arm talent during the accuracy challenge and the Pro Day on June 19. 247Sports reported that Lacey finished third in the accuracy competition on June 19. He also ranked among the top performers in the Pro Day on Wednesday.

From what we've seen during Lacey's Elite 11 Finals throws, he's shown good footwork in the pocket, along with good timing and accuracy. He's getting the ball out on time and accurately whether his feet are planted in the pocket or while he's throwing on the move.

Lacey has looked the most natural with his short and intermediate throws. While his deep balls have been most accurate from what we've seen over two days at the Elite 11 Finals, his smaller frame limits his mechanics and arm strength when throwing deeper than 20 or 25 yards.

The final day of competition at the Elite 11 Finals will take place on June 20. Day 3 of the Elite 11 Finals will see the quarterbacks take part in a couple of competitions, including simulated live-game throws and 7-on-7.

Among the skill players competing in the 7-on-7 at the Elite 11 Finals on Thursday are key Texas wide receiver targets on the recruiting trail. A couple names to watch among the wideouts in 7-on-7 work are 2026 San Antonio (TX) James Madison four-star Jordan Clay and 2025 Jacksonville (FL) Mandarin five-star Jaime Ffrench.
