In the marquee matchup around college football for Week 2 of the 2024 season, No. 4 Texas football travels to face the defending National Champion No. 9 Michigan Wolverines in Ann Arbor on Sep. 7.

Head coach Steve Sarkisian and the Longhorns will face their first ranked matchup as members of the SEC in Week 2 against a first-year Michigan head coach Sherrone Moore this coming weekend.

Texas looked good on both sides of the ball in Week 1, shutting out the Colorado State Rams from the Mountain West Conference in a dominant 52-0 win at DKR on Aug. 31. The 50+ point triumph over the Rams last weekend was Texas's first shutout victory in a season opener in two decades.

Michigan reached the finish line in its season opener at home last weekend with a 20-point victory over the Fresno State Bulldogs. But it wasn't easy the entire way for Michigan, as it took a late pick-six in the fourth quarter by star cornerback Will Johnson to seal the victory for the Wolverines against Fresno State on Saturday night.

Texas will very likely be facing a top-10 ranked team on the road for the first time in over 15 years (since 2008) when it faces Michigan at the Big House in Ann Arbor this weekend.

Here's a look at the game information, betting odds, injuries, and more for the highly anticipated Week 2 matchup between No. 4 Texas and No. 9 Michigan at Michigan Stadium in Ann Arbor, MI, on Sep. 7.
