For the first time since 2008, Texas football is ranked No. 1 in the AP Poll. Texas overtook the top spot in this week's AP Poll after the previous No. 1 ranked Georgia Bulldogs were nearly upset on the road against the Kentucky Wildcats last weekend.

This weekend, the Longhorns host the UL-Monroe Warhawks at home at DKR for the final non-conference tune-up game before SEC play begins next week against Mississippi State.

Head coach Steve Sarkisian and the Longhorns come into Week 4 with an undefeated 3-0 (0-0 SEC) record after a dominant 56-7 win over the UTSA Roadrunners at home on Sep. 14.

Texas takes on an undefeated ULM team this weekend at DKR for the first time since 2022. It looks like the Longhorns will be without redshirt junior starting quarterback Quinn Ewers for this final non-conference game of the regular season against ULM, since he suffered an abdominal strain last weekend in the first half against UTSA.

Despite ULM coming into this game with an undefeated 2-0 record, ESPN's matchup predictor gives the Warhawks just a one percent chance of winning this game against the Longhorns.

Here's a look at the game information, betting odds, injuries, and more for the Week 4 matchup between No. 1 Texas and ULM at Darrell K. Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium in Austin, TX, on Sep. 21.

Texas football vs. ULM betting odds

Texas is a 44.5-point favorite against ULM in Week 4 at home at DKR, and the Longhorns are favored in the money line (-50000) over the Warhawks (+4000), (per FanDuel). The over/under is 52.5 points.

Texas football vs. ULM injuries

The biggest injury the Longhorns suffered last weekend in the 49-point win over UTSA was losing Ewers in the first half to an abdominal strain. Redshirt freshman Arch Manning took over at quarterback for Texas's offense in the first half after Ewers left the game with an injury.

Sophomore running back Tre Wisner also missed the second half of the game due to a "tweak" he suffered in the first half. Wisner should be good to go for this weekend against ULM.

Jaydon Blue was held out of last weekend's action after he suffered an ankle sprain in the Week 2 win on the road over the Michigan Wolverines.
