The Ole Miss Rebels' passing game looked nothing short of spotless in Week 1 in a 76-point blowout shutout victory over FCS Furman. Jaxson Dart put up over 400 passing yards and five touchdowns. Tre Harris and the Ole Miss receiving corps looked like the force we expected them to be for the offense this fall.

Head coach Lane Kiffin and Ole Miss host the Middle Tennessee Blue Raiders at home in Week 2, where they should move to 2-0 before the start of SEC play in a couple of weeks.

After a few up and down drives offensively to start the game, Texas football was dominant on both sides of the ball against the Colorado State Rams on Saturday afternoon. Redshirt junior quarterback Quinn Ewers had complete control of the offense after he settled into the game around the middle of the first quarter.

We also got a good look at redshirt freshman sensation quarterback Arch Manning, who got some good reps in the second half and tallied up over 100 total yards and his first two touchdowns of his collegiate career.

Head coach Steve Sarkisian and the Longhorns head up to Ann Arbor for the matchup of the week for Week 2 against the defending National Champions and No. 9 ranked Michigan Wolverines on Sep. 7. Texas opened up as one-score favorites against a Michigan squad that looked very shaky through the air and struggled to get a consistent ground game going in Week 1 against Fresno State in a 20-point late victory.

According to the ESPN matchup predictor, Texas has a 73.8 percent to win in Week 2 compared to just 26.2 percent for Michigan next weekend.

1-0 (0-0 SEC). . 1. . Week 1 Result: 34-3 win vs. Clemson. . . Georgia. . 527

Last week: 1 (--)

There is no question which SEC team would be No. 1 in this week's power rankings after head coach Kirby Smart and the top-ranked Georgia Bulldogs dominated the No. 14 Clemson Tigers in Week 1. Georgia pulled away late, beating Clemson by a scoring margin of 28-3 in the second half, to claim the convincing 34-3 win in Atlanta.

Georgia will move to 2-0 in a matchup against FCS Tennessee Tech in their home opener in Week 2.
