Tennessee looked really impressive on the defensive side of the ball in its double-digit win in Norman last weekend against Oklahoma. Head coach Josh Heupel and the Vols have tons of momentum entering their first bye week of the season, with an undefeated record and two wins over ranked opponents after the first four games of the 2024 campaign.

For the second straight week, the Longhorns and head coach Steve Sarkisian top the list of the SEC power rankings following a big win over an inferior G5 non-conference foe. Redshirt freshman quarterback Arch Manning won the first start of his collegiate career in a dominant 51-3 win over the UL-Monroe Warhawks at home last weekend.
Redshirt junior starting quarterback Quinn Ewers' health is still a question mark entering the SEC opener for the Longhorns this upcoming weekend at home against Mississippi State.
