The biggest riser in this week's SEC power rankings is Texas A&M. First-year head coach Mike Elko and the Aggies are trending positively after a thorough dismantling of Mizzou in a 31-point victory on Saturday in College Station.

Texas A&M's offense looked like a well-oiled machine in quarterback Conner Weigman's return from an upper-body injury in Week 6. After starting SEC play 3-0, the Aggies have a pretty favorable schedule that doesn't feature a single ranked SEC team on the road away from Kyle Field.

Georgia and head coach Kirby Smart notched a nice rebound victory last weekend by a convincing double-digit margin over Auburn at home. The Georgia offense has some lingering issues to resolve, but it does look like that side of the ball is improving since the second half of the loss to Alabama on the road a couple of weeks ago.

The Dawgs should move to 3-1 in SEC play if they can take care of business at home against Mississippi State this weekend at home.

Texas and head coach Steve Sarkisian reclaim their spot atop the SEC power rankings this week after Alabama's loss to Vandy on Saturday. Last weekend's chaos and various upsets around the SEC proves that the Longhorns can't take any game lightly in conference play this fall.

The biggest question mark in the national headlines surrounding the Longhorns entering this weekend's Red River Rivalry game against OU in Dallas is the health of quarterback Quinn Ewers. Sarkisian said early this week in a press conference that Ewers would start if Texas played Oklahoma today.
