Women's College World Series Bracket, Teams & More: Full schedule and matchups

The 2024 Women's College World Series begins in Oklahoma City, OK, this week. Texas softball is one of eight teams (including three from the Big 12) competing in OKC for the Women's College World Series title.

Texas is back in Oklahoma City for the Women's College World Series for the first time since 2022. There are also four teams returning to the Women's College World Series for the second year in a row, including the No. 2 Oklahoma Sooners, No. 5 Oklahoma State Cowgirls, No. 8 Stanford Cardinal, and No. 14 Alabama Crimson Tide.

Head coach Mike White and the Longhorns hold the No. 1 overall seed this postseason. Texas joins Oklahoma as the two-highest seeds in the college softball postseason that made it to OKC.

The other three teams in the WCWS field are the No. 4 Florida Gators, No. 6 UCLA Bruins, and No. 10 Duke Blue Devils. All eight teams in the WCWS field were regional hosts this postseason.

Location: OGE Field at Devon Park (Oklahoma City, OK)

The WCWS gets underway on May 30 at 11 a.m. CT, with No. 6 UCLA battling No. 14 Alabama on side 2 of the bracket. All four opening round games in the Women's College World Series wrap up during the afternoon and into the night of May 30.

The finals for the Women's College World Series begins June 5, and could last through June 7 if all three games are played.
