One of Texas' top offensive weapons, WR Parker Livingstone, was injured against the Florida Gators last weekend after he converted a big first down for the offense. He left the game and got X-rays on his right leg, as he immediately came up hobbling and limping following the catch.

It was just confirmed today that his X-rays are negative, and that he should be good to go against Oklahoma this weekend.

Longhorn Nation and the coaching staff alike can finally breathe a huge sigh of relief seeing as Livingstone has probably been the team's most consistent pass-catcher in 2025 so far. His long-speed and huge strides have allowed him to be a dependable deep threat for this offense, regardless of who's covering him.

The 6'4", 191-pound Livingstone currently leads the team in receiving yards with 279, and yards per reception average with 21.5. He's made a huge leap in year two, running unusually crisp routes for how long he is. Usually, bigger receivers have a harder time with certain types of routes due to the lack of foot speed, but Livingstone has been fairly effective in the bulk of the route tree.

The team is elated to find out that his injury isn't serious, and that he'll more than likely be back to face the Sooners this weekend in THE GAME.

Oklahoma's passing defense is pretty dang good so the Longhorns will definitely need all hands on deck for this one. Not only will Livingstone be valuable as a deep threat to potentially create some explosive plays, but the team will need him to help pull defenders away from the underneath zones so guys like DeAndre Moore Jr. and Jack Endries can be productive.
