A far cry from the success of the Texas women's basketball team, the Longhorn men are heading into their first-ever SEC Tournament with a No. 13 seed and an embarrassing regular season-ending loss to the Oklahoma Sooners in their back pockets.
With a 17-14 overall record and an abysmal 6-12 record in conference play, the Horns need to find some postseason magic in the SEC Tournament if they want their season to extend past the conference schedule.
The SEC Men's Basketball Tournament features a single-elimination bracket that includes all 16 of the conference's teams. The top four teams received byes through the first two rounds, and the next four received a single bye. The bottom eight teams will tip off in the first round on Wednesday, March 12.
