Over an extremely busy recruiting weekend for the Texas Longhorns, head coach Steve Sarkisian and his staff hosted blue-chip prospects from numerous recruiting classes.
From prospects as well-known as Adrian Peterson's son, Adrian Peterson Jr., to under-the-radar recruits, the Horns were in the full swing of recruiting.
That included catching the eye of four-star safety Jalen Flowers, who is a top-100 prospect in the class of 2028 and one of the most highly coveted recruits in his recruiting cycle.
Texas stands out to 4-star safety Jalen Flowers
Flowers, who was one of the athletes in attendance for on-field workouts on the 40 Acres, couldn't hold back how impressed he was by the Longhorns.
"It was the best visit I've been on so far," Flowers told Rivals' Greg Biggins.
The young defensive back is the No. 9 safety in his recruiting cycle and has received offers from teams across the country, including powerhouse programs like the Ohio State Buckeyes, USC Trojans, and more.
Flowers, a California native, has already taken visits to USC, the team that is currently projected to land his commitment. However, it clearly didn't take the Horns long to cut into the Trojans' lead.

While Flowers still has two years left in his high school career, he has already built an impressive resume with two seasons of varsity experience under his belt.
In 17 games, Flowers has amassed 76 total tackles (40 solo), 11 pass deflections, six interceptions for 102 yards, and two tackles for loss. On the offensive side of the ball, he has earned 41 rushing yards for one touchdown and 677 receiving yards for 10 more TDs.
The four-star prospect has clearly been a menace to handle on either side of the line of scrimmage, but the Longhorns, and everyone else in the country, are mainly recruiting him as a defensive back, his primary position throughout the last two years.
