The first Junior Day of the 2025 offseason for Texas football recruiting for the 2026 and 2027 classes is coming up in a couple of weeks on Jan. 25.

Priority 4-Star Louisiana DL Dylan Berymon set to visit Texas football for Junior Day in late January

Texas's attention has moved back to roster management and recruiting from the transfer portal and the high school ranks after the Longhorns were eliminated from the College Football Playoff in the semifinals at the Cotton Bowl last week.

The list of visitors for Texas's first annual Junior Day festivities in a couple of weekends has already started coming together. One of the early visitors confirmed to be on the list for Texas's Junior Day on Jan. 25 is the highly touted four-star Monroe (LA) Ouachita Parish defensive lineman Dylan Berymon.

On3's Chad Simmons reports that Berymon "has confirmed" two visits he's taking to SEC schools in mid-to-late January. Berymon will reportedly visit Columbia to see the Mizzou Tigers on Jan. 18 before making the trip to Texas the weekend after on Jan. 25.

Berymon also had a visit scheduled for Jan. 11 to see Starkville and the Mississippi State Bulldogs. But he had to cancel that trip to Mississippi State last weekend due to weather issues.

Texas is among the top schools prioritizing Berymon's recruitment early in the 2025 offseason. He specifically mentioned Texas and the USC Trojans as the two schools that are "up there" in the top group for him entering winter and spring visits early this offseason.

The Longhorns are one of the schools that Berymon plans to officially visit during the summer. He's also looking to take official visits to see the LSU Tigers, Texas A&M Aggies, and USC. Mizzou is also a program who he's considering taking an official visit to this upcoming summer on the trail.

Berymon has visited Texas multiple times since the Longhorns offered him during the Elite Camp in early June last offseason.
