Bo Ogden is officially down to just six schools under consideration for his future team: the Gonzaga Bulldogs, Purdue Boilermakers, Tennessee Volunteers, Virginia Cavaliers, Kansas Jayhawks, and (of course) Texas Longhorns.
Ogden, who lives just a few miles from the Horns' basketball facility, the Moody Center, is actually the son of the Texas men's basketball General Manager, Chris Ogden. He also just so happens to be the No. 5 prospect in the state.
Despite all of that, Texas and new head coach Sean Miller aren't projected to land the small forward, On3 and Rivals giving an edge to the Boilermakers and the Cavaliers.

It's not unheard of that a child doesn't want to go to a program or a school that one of their parents is directly associated with; kids often want to fly the nest and test out their wings, without a mother or father looking over their shoulder.
Ogden is no different. However, his father was also an assistant coach for the Volunteers after playing for the Longhorns in the late 90s and early 2000s.
