Texas has been reaping all different types of rewards since upsetting Texas A&M in week 14, and most importantly, along the recruiting trail as of late.

Since defeating the Aggies, the Longhorns have gained a commitment from 2027 5-star WR Easton Royal and flipped a 2026 4-star defensive lineman from Baylor. That's one of the biggest, most impactful recruiting runs that Texas has been on in 2025. It comes at an opportune time as well as the early National Signing Day period begins on Wednesday for the 2026 class.

With all of the recent flips, the Longhorns' recruiting class now ranks No.7 for the cycle, up two spots in two weeks, jumping Texas A&M and Tennessee.

Here is an updated list of Texas' current 2026 recruiting class, expected to make things official beginning on Wednesday:

- QB Dia Bell
- ATH Jermaine Bishop

4-stars

- WR Kohen Brown
- RB Jett Walker
- S Yaheim Riley

The Longhorns are currently in a great spot with 26 total recruits committed, and they'll undoubtedly be landing a handful more within the next couple of months. The only programs ahead of Texas in the recruiting rankings are USC, Georgia, Alabama, Notre Dame, Oregon, and Ohio State.

Though Steve Sarkisian and Co. most likely won't get back to the No.1 spot like they were with the 2025 class, the 2026 group is chock-full of talent and potential for the coaching staff to develop.
