Ah, how sweet it is to defeat your rivals... for the second year in a row... and as an upset victory.
The Longhorns, once again, defeated the Texas A&M Aggies, and it was in resounding fashion as quarterback Arch Manning played one of his best games yet and the Texas defense dominated in all areas of the field.
After the No. 16 Horns upset the No. 3 Aggies (who had been undefeated before the matchup), even Sam Ehlinger had to jump in to celebrate alongside his former team.
Ehlinger, who isn't known for being the most boisterous player (other than announcing that Texas was "back"), jumped on social media to roast the Aggies after the Longhorns earned the victory.
"Best season in 30 years & they still can’t beat big bro," Ehlinger wrote, adding a laughing emoji, a Horns up emoji, and a "Poor Aggies" hashtag.
The QB who brought Texas 'back' is still a loyal Longhorn
When Ehlinger and the Longhorns defeated the Georgia Bulldogs in the 2019 Sugar Bowl, he was named the MVP of the game, and after the game, he famously said, "We're baaaaaack."

Well, Texas hasn't exactly been able to topple the Bulldogs since then, going 0-3 since joining the SEC last season, but that game cemented Ehlinger as a Longhorn legend and truly put head coach Steve Sarkisian on the path to becoming an all-time great in the Texas history books.
With the win over the Ags, this year's Texas team made history, becoming one of the very few teams in program history to sweep Texas A&M, Oklahoma, and Arkansas in back-to-back seasons.
Including the win over Texas A&M, the Longhorns improved to 9-3 on the season and claimed three top-15 wins on the year. Truly, the Horns had carved their own path to the College Football Playoffs, with the win over "little bro" as the cherry on top.
While the Longhorns couldn't qualify for a spot in the SEC Championship, it genuinely became a waiting game to see whether or not the Committee would give Texas a spot in the CFP or not.
No matter what, the second consecutive rivalry sweep was as sweet as possible, and this Longhorn team wouldn't be forgotten for a long, long time.
