The past few days have been exciting for the Longhorns as the Texas football and men's basketball programs continue to garner attention from high-level recruits in both sports.
Most notably, the Horns' new head basketball coach Sean Miller brought in one of his former players from Xavier when guard Dailyn Swain committed to Texas on Wednesday, April 2. Alongside Swain, Miller has brought a ton of attention to Austin with his attention-grabbing name and previous success at both Xavier and Arizona.

Ezavier Crowell, the No. 2 running back in the class of 2026, spent the past weekend in Austin, visiting the Texas Longhorns and head coach Steve Sarkisian.
Tight end Mark Brown, a five-star prospect, also spent the weekend with the Longhorns and had high praise for Sarkisian's program: "My family and I had a great time and really cool experience."
The spring transfer portal opens on April 16 and will remain open for 10 days, meaning that the Longhorns can both lose players but also find more potential prospects for new talent in the program.
