For the second season in a row, the Texas Longhorns appeared in the College Football Playoff semifinals. This time around, they defeated the Clemson Tigers and the Arizona State Sun Devils to do so.
The Horns defeated the Sun Devils in the 2025 Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl, punching their ticket to the semifinals in the first-ever 12-team CFPs. Because of that win, Texas deserved some new jewelry.
On Monday, April 28, nearly four months after earning their win in the Peach Bowl, the Longhorns unveiled their playoff rings for their wins over Clemson and Arizona State, which include the scores from both games.

On one side, the players' names and numbers can be seen, as well as the score from their 38-24 win over the Tigers in the first round of the Playoffs. On the opposite side, the Peach Bowl Logo and the 39-31 winning score that Texas produced over the Sun Devils.
On top, one of the most recognizable logos in all of sports is featured, amid a bed of diamonds as well as the initials "CFP" and the year, 2025.
While the Longhorns fell short of the National Championship game, once again, after losing to the Ohio State Buckeyes in their semifinal matchup, Texas has a lot to be proud of from last season.
In their first year as a part of the SEC, the Horns finished with an 11-1 record after the regular season. Texas then played in the SEC Championship, where it lost to Georgia, but still earned a berth to the first round of the College Football Playoffs.
Texas defeated Clemson and Arizona State on the road to the CFP semifinals, where the Longhorns lost 28-14 to the Buckeyes, who went on to win the National Championship.
