When former Oregon State OG Dylan Sikorski committed to Texas on January 9th, Longhorn Nation was pumped, but not "through the roof" excited. Despite some people downplaying Sikorski's role with the Longhorns in 2026, he could end up being the main catalyst in the unit's reboot.
Sikorski, a 6'4", 330-pound blocker from Sumner, WA, was a six game starter for the Beavers in 2025 at offensive guard. In his 444 total snaps played this season, he only allowed one sack and 4 pressures. That's a pretty decent stat line for a redshirt freshman.

Sikorski is the type of player who the coaching staff could like a lot more than what the college football analysts are telling the public heading into 2026. He's a perfect fit for what Texas wants to do on offense, and his overall skillset inside is what the team was missing in 2025. He's an excellent pass blocker, being able to consistently anchor down against bull-rushers. Interior penetration and pressure was one of the main reasons why Arch Manning and Co. looked underwhelming most of the time over the first half of the season.
Sikorski also has an excellent frame and he has a fairly high ceiling at Texas working under Kyle Flood.
As mentioned earlier, don't be surprised if he ends up being locked-in as the starter at left or right guard heading into spring practices. Based on multiple factors, the Longhorns' "best" five offensive linemen right now and projected depth chart could be:
LT - Trevor Goosby
LG - Jaydon Chatman (cross-trained at OG and OT)
C - Connor Robertson
RG - Dylan Sikorski
RT - Brandon Baker
If someone like Jordan Seaton comes in, he would most likely start at right tackle and kick Brandon Baker inside to right guard. At that point, Dylan Sikorski could move over to left guard next to Goosby.
