Texas players to watch out for tonight in rounds 2 and 3 of the 2026 NFL Draft

There's a very good chance that a couple Longhorns get selected on day two of the draft tonight.

Though no Texas Longhorns were selected in the first round last night, there could be a couple of players who hear their names called in rounds two and three tonight.

There was a slight chance that a Texas defender could've snuck into the final few picks of the first round, but that didn't end up happening. Let's take a look at the Longhorns who are most likely going to be selected tonight:

LB Anthony Hill Jr.

Hill Jr.'s overall talent and athleticism are undeniable, and he and Texas Tech LB Jacob Rodriguez are the top linebackers on the board heading into day two. As mentioned in our Texas NFL Draft forecast, someone like the Tennessee Titans at No.35 could jump on the Longhorns' star linebacker after taking Ohio State WR Carnell Tate in the first round.

The Titans were reportedly considering LB Sonny Styles very heavily last night with their first pick, and they could want to fill that need early on in round two. Other teams to watch as potential landing spots for Hill Jr. are the Bills, Giants and Bengals.

CB Malik Muhammad

Muhammad has been getting lots of love lately due to his above-average processing skills and technical prowess on the boundary. His refinement in those to major categories will most likely result in a team selecting him in round three tonight.

With Muhammad's ability to play all three cornerback spots (field, boundary, and nickel), he's undoubtedly one of the most valuable corners available after Clemson's Avieon Terrell, Indiana's D'Angelo Ponds, and Miami's Keionte Scott.

His most likely landing spots are Cincinnati, New Orleans, or Green Bay.

After Hill Jr. and Muhammad, somebody like TE Jack Endries could end up finding his way into the tail end of the third round, but he'll probably hear his name called on day three.
