For the first time in nearly two decades, No. 1 Texas football (6-0, 2-0 SEC) will host a top-five-ranked matchup in the AP Poll at home at DKR in Austin. Texas hosts the No. 5 Georgia Bulldogs (5-1, 3-1 SEC) and head coach Kirby Smart in a marquee matchup in primetime under the lights at DKR on Oct. 19.

The last time Texas hosted a top-five matchup in the AP Poll at DKR was in 2006, when the No. 1 Ohio State Buckeyes faced the No. 2 ranked Longhorns in Week 2 of that campaign.

ESPN College GameDay will be in Austin this upcoming weekend for the high-stakes SEC matchup at DKR between Texas and Georgia. It will be the second time that ESPN College GameDay will be present for a game with the Longhorns involved this season. The first was Texas's big Week 2 double-digit victory over the defending National Champion Michigan Wolverines in Ann Arbor.

Texas enters this weekend's matchup against the Dawgs as the only remaining undefeated team in the SEC. The Longhorns and head coach Steve Sarkisian have considerable momentum coming into this Georgia matchup after dismantling the No. 18 Oklahoma Sooners with a total-team effort, by a score of 34-3, in the Red River Rivalry game on Oct. 12.

Here's a look at the game information, betting odds, injuries, and more for the Week 8 matchup between No. 1 Texas and No. 5 Georgia at Darrell K. Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium in Austin, TX, on Oct. 19.
