SEC power rankings wrap up for the 2024 regular season after the rivalry week of games, which featured an overtime contest and multiple exciting one-score games.

Tennessee rallied back after getting down by two touchdowns in the first half against Vandy last weekend for a double-digit win on the road in a rivalry game. Head coach Josh Heupel and the Vols looked good as essentially a lock for the 12-team College Football Playoff, despite missing the SEC Championship Game.

The Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets pushed Georgia to the brink during Thanksgiving week in the most exciting game on Friday night around the college football landscape, if not the entire weekend. Georgia needed eight overtimes to defeat Georgia Tech.

Head coach Kirby Smart and Georgia will duke it out with the Longhorns this upcoming weekend in the SEC Championship Game for a first-round bye in the College Football Playoff.

Head coach Steve Sarkisian and the Longhorns locked up spots in the SEC Championship Game and the 12-team College Football Playoff with the double-digit win over Texas A&M in College Station last weekend. Texas is now favorited by a few points in the SEC title game on Dec. 7 in Atlanta against Georgia.

The health of quarterback Quinn Ewers and offensive tackle Kelvin Banks Jr. remain question marks for the Longhorns on the injury front heading into the SEC Championship Game.
