If Herman and the Longhorns wanted to get off to a solid start for the 2021 recruiting class, looking no further than four-star in-state rising running back Brandon Campbell is a great option. Campbell is among the underrated four-star 2021 high school running backs in the nation that could continue to add to their recruiting classification in the coming months.

Most of the 2021 recruiting rankings, at least from 247Sports, are still fairly raw. A handful of the more talented prospects for that recruiting cycle don’t even have official recruiting rankings yet from either Rivals or 247Sports. Campbell is one of those prospects that has yet to get his 247Sports Composite Ranking or refined Rivals rating in thus far.

However, Campbell is ranked as a top 15 2021 high school running back in the nation on his 247Sports ranking, and as a top 215 overall four-star prospect. He could continue to rise up the national recruiting rankings as he proves that size shouldn’t be a barrier in his recruitment.

This 5-foot-9.5 and 190 pound standout rusher doesn’t hold an offer from the Texas football program yet, but he could add one soon. Impressing him on this visit could also get him an offer from the Horns out of the weekend. Adding to the depth in the running back room for the next few years could start off with wooing Campbell this weekend.
