The wide receiver/athlete hybrids could be abundant for Sark and the Longhorns in the 2022 class. Between two very potent 2022 targets on the recruiting trail like four-star Spearman product Brenen Thompson and three-star Tenaha product Jeremy Patton, the Longhorns could have a whole lot of speed in the mix with this group.

Texas got recent visits from both Thompson and Patton. It was Patton that was on the Forty Acres last weekend with the first group of official visitors. He also looks to be one of the more likely candidates to be an initial commit for Sark and the Longhorns as visit season moves along this month. Patton was trending to Texas for a few weeks now.

This week, Patton had an official visit on the books with head coach Mike Gundy and the Oklahoma State Cowboys. That official visit was scheduled specifically for June 9. And just like with Thompson, Oklahoma State could be one of the schools that Texas has to fend off to get a commitment out of the in-state product Patton.

The other two schools scheduled to get an official visit this month from Patton are the Baylor Bears (June 18) and Michigan Wolverines (June 11). Patton is fitting a lot of visits into a short amount of time. He will wind up visiting Oklahoma State and Michigan within just three days of each other.

The most recent 247Sports Crystal Ball Predictions are very favorable for Texas in pursuit of Patton’s commitment. The two most recent expert Crystal Ball Predictions are both trending in Texas’ favor.
