If you thought last week was the biggest game for Texas Football, think again. This week, they will be taking on the SEC Powerhouse, the Georgia Bulldogs in Austin. Georgia is looking to teach Texas a lesson that they are the big bad dogs of the SEC.

On the other hand, the Longhorns are looking to prove that they are the team to beat this season by defending their number-one ranking. Here are four reasons why the Longhorns should beat the Bulldogs this weekend.

Why Texas football will defeat Georgia: 4. Quintrevion Wisner having another career week

Sophomore running back Quintrevion Wisner had a career week against Oklahoma. He carried the ball 13 times for 118 yards last week against the Sooners. The Longhorns could use another game like that from him if the Bulldogs shut down the Longhorns' passing game.

Wisner's ability to read the blocking and find an opening will be a key to the Longhorns having a chance against Georgia. If Wisner has another career week this weekend, the Longhorns should run right past the Bulldogs.

3. Wide receiver core ambush

After being semi-absent against the Sooners last weekend, the Longhorns' passing attack could be back against Georgia. Isaiah Bond and the rest might be challenging for the Bulldogs' secondary to slow down.

Emmanuel Acho said it best that if one receiver has an off week, the others pick up the slack. The Longhorns might be in trouble if the passing attack is absent this Saturday. However, the Longhorns will find a way to win this Saturday night with their passing attack.

2. Quinn Ewers should be back to normal

Senior quarterback Quinn Ewers had a rough game against the Sooners on Saturday. It was kind of expected after having two and a half weeks off due to his abdominal injury against UTSA. I'm sure Ewers will return to normal with another week of practice.

If the Longhorns want to have any shot of beating the Bulldogs, Ewers must be smart with the ball when it comes to the passing game. If Ewers shows any rust on Saturday night, it could be fatal for the Longhorns.

1. Defensive shutdown

The Longhorns' defense did a great job shutting down the Sooners' offense last weekend. That kind of game will do wonders in the motivation category. That motivation should carry over to this weekend against the Bulldogs.

Bulldogs Senior quarterback Carson Beck has an arm and isn't afraid to let the football sail down the field. That pressure should force him to make some bad throws this weekend. If the Longhorns pressure Carson Beck into bad passes, they should win the game this weekend.
